Verified Carbon Accounting Software Directory

This directory tracks carbon accounting platforms using capabilities that can be verified from current official vendor documentation. It is designed to make software research more transparent than a generic “best software” list.

How to read this page: “Verified” means the capability was found in current official vendor material. It does not mean Scope3Analytics has independently benchmarked product performance. Unknown or unclear capabilities are not guessed. If API access matters to your shortlist, use our API integration buyer checklist to distinguish documented capabilities from a tested implementation. For our evidence standards, source selection and correction process, see the research methodology and editorial policy.

Last verification pass: October 13, 2026.

What this directory does not do yet

This first version does not assign an overall “best” score. That would be misleading without a larger structured dataset and consistent evidence for implementation effort, customer support, commercial terms and real-world product performance. Scope3Analytics will expand this directory vendor by vendor and keep a visible verification date.

Before comparing vendors, check whether you need software at all.

The Software Need Assessment scores the workflow signals that usually separate a spreadsheet-friendly process from a genuine software problem.
